HOW IT WORKS
- Team Pickleball League runs for 6 weeks and concludes with an exciting playoff.
- Teams of 4 from each club (2 men and 2 women) compete in matches that consist of 4 games.
- Game 1: women’s doubles, game 2: men’s doubles, games 3 & 4: mixed doubles.
- Games are to 21 with rally scoring .
- Win by 1 except in a tiebreaker match, win by 2.
- A tiebreaker occurs when both teams have a game tie of 2-2 after 4 games are played. This is a mixed doubles match switching teams at 11. The same mixed teams must play in the tiebreak with the same partner in the same order.
- There’s a freeze at 20 and you must be serving to win.
RULES + SUBS
- Line calls can only be made by the players on the court.
- In a tiebreak, teams must play in the same order per their lineup sheet.
- Each team is responsible for finding their own subs.
- Subs must have a rating comparable to whom they are subbing for.
- Teams are only allowed a maximum of 2 subs per game day.
- If a team player is a no-show, they can play someone at a higher level or from
another team but the games don’t count, and it shows as a forfeit.
